HD Brows in Cardiff

Hi gorgeous girls and boys!

So I attended a beauty show recently and eyebrows are mega hot right now! Eyebrow bits range from threading to brow stencils to fake the perfect brow. Honestly though...the hottest thing for me right now is HD brows.

Anyone can have HD brows, whether you are a man, woman, young or old. It is designed to suit everyone. HD focuses on designing the brows rather than removing hair. It is great for anyone in dire need of help with their brows. Now I don't know about any of you but I went crazy tweezing my eyebrows as a teen and it left me with very sparce and thin brows. I have been having HD brows for a year now and I would say I am very happy with how my brows are now. The sparse patches are almost non existent and they have increased in thickness to the point that I am finally happy.

What are HD brows though? Let me explain. Firstly HD stands for high definition, you guessed that though right? There are 7 steps to getting yourself the most amazing brows you have ever had.

Step 1 - Consultation.
Your therapist will go through a thorough consultation with you on your first visit. There they will look at your colouring, face shape and ask you about your preferences for the result you want to achieve. This is your time to really let your therapist know what you would like to get out of the treatment. You can decide at this point whether you want your eyebrows thin or thick or soft and natural or extreme and highly defined. Your therapist will make notes on your card for future visits.

Step 2 - Tinting.
Always make sure you have a patch test done at your chosen salon to establish that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used. Try and do this at least 24 hours before.
The tint is mainly used to pick up any fine hairs to give the therapist more hair to work with and also to add colour and depth. The colour is up to you. You should base it on your skin and hair colour.

Step 3 - Waxing.
The waxing is precision work, this is where the majority of the shaping is done. The main aim usually is to create a nice arch and create definition.

Step 4 - Trimming.
This helps with the precision of your brow by taming any wild hairs that may stick up all over the place (it happens!) It mainly helps make your brows more streamlined.

Step 5 - Threading.
Now we all know what threading is. During the HD treatment it is used to remove any fine fluffy hairs around the temple areas and across the forehead. This balances everything out, creating a lovely smooth surface for your brows to sit and it also brings all the attention back to them.

Step 6 - Tweezing.
Any stray hairs that have tried to slip under the net and not get noticed are removed now. By tweezing your therapist is perfecting and finishing your brows to make sure they are perfect, defined and symmetrical

Step 7 - Finishing.
Your brows will be finished with mineral foundation over your surrounding skin to calm and camouflage. No one wants to leave with a bright red forehead. Then to finish off the look your therapist will apply HD brow powder or pencil to fill in any sparse areas or areas where hair has been left to grow and apply brow beater to tame and keep hairs in place. Your therapist will then advise you on specific aftercare for you.

That is a before and after by me , as you can see they look so so so much better!!
I myself wear the HD brow powder pallet. They come with several colours including a highlighter and can be lightly applied or the brush can be wet for a more intense result, you can use them as eyeshadows or eyeliners too, more for your money horrah!!
